Five Ways to Get Involved at Your Child’s School

It’s not too late to get involved this school year. Doing so shows your kiddos that you’re involved with their education and see it as a worthwhile cause.

We compiled a list of our Top 5 ways to get involved:

1. Tutor students
By far one of the most rewarding jobs – helping a child learn to read and write.

2. Help build the stage or wardrobe for the school’s annual theatre production
Unleash your creative side!

3. Organize or involve yourself with a club that shares your interests.
Our favourite idea: crafting!

4. Help plan or chaperone a field trip
This one could be the most fun, plus you’ll get to spend time with your own kiddo!

5. Share your favourite product – Mabel’s Labels!
Set-up and share a personalized fundraising link for your school. If parents order online, the school earns 20% commission automatically. It’s THAT easy! Get started at

Try one out and give it your best – you never know what you’ll learn along the way! How do you volunteer your time at your child’s school?

Happy Holidays!

Mabel's Labels Holiday Hours

During the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it’s easy to do too much, relax too little. We’ve decided to slow things down a bit here at Mabel HQ by giving our amazing, hard-working staff some extra time off.

All departments, including Customer Service, Fundraising and Production, will operate with a skeleton staff December 24 (until 1pm), 27, 28, 31, and be closed December 25, 29, 30 and January 1. Regular hours resume on January 2.

Our online store is, of course, always open, so please feel free to shop as usual! Shipping may take a little longer but we think a slower pace at this time of year isn’t such a bad thing. In fact, we hope you’ll be able to take time with your family and loved ones too, and savor every precious, one-of-a-kind moment.

Warm wishes from everyone at Mabel’s Labels

Top 3 Ways to Pitch Mabel’s Labels Fundraising

Calling all innovative moms & dads! Mabel’s Labels is your child’s school’s next best fundraising idea (and you know it, too!)

Here are the top 3 ways to spread your fabulous knowledge:

  1. Add value to the school’s current fundraising efforts
Think about complimentary fundraisers. Selling Tupperware? Our Sticky Labels were made for them! Selling gift wrap? Labels are a unique gift idea.
  2. Offer to take the reins
How could they say no if you offer to plan and manage the whole campaign? Here’s our little secret: the Mabel’s Labels fundraiser is the easiest! No order forms, money handling or distributing of product.
  3. Most importantly, this is something different to offer
Give people something to get excited about. The cookie dough and chocolate bars are becoming too predictable. This year it’s in with the new! Oh, and don’t forget to mention this can solve their enormous lost and found problem.

Please request a Mabel’s Labels Fundraising Guide here. Pass it along to the school Secretary, Principal, Parent Council or Director. Hard copies are also available upon request.
