Father’s Day is around the corner, and I, for one, have had it with crappy ties, funny socks, bad crafts and bottles of booze.
In the 17 Father’s Days we’ve celebrated around my place, I’ve seen just about it all. I decided to have a little look around for quality products that would make for great presents without breaking the bank. I think Father’s Day presents should be bought by kids, and not mothers, so here are a few awesome, yet affordable, suggestions:
Firebhut (pronounced Fire-butt)
This is NOT your regular hot sauce! Incredibly fresh and tasty, this all natural hot sauce was created by an entrepreneurial husband and wife team who are the parents of four small children. This amazing blend is made with the Bhut Jolokia Pepper, (a.k.a ghost peppers, and the inspiration for the ‘Bhut’ in Firebhut). Blended with fresh carrots and garlic, Dads will love adding bit of zing to their favourite foods. Perfect for chicken, fish, pizza and chilli. Sautéed or grilled veggies love a splash of Firebhut. Mix Dad a Caesar – it’s great in there too!
The crafty mama behind “Makin’ Mamas” is making custom Father’s Day hammers that include one of their pre-written sayings, or one of your own. They do many personalized products, but these hammers are an absolute winner for Father’s Day.
For around the $20.00 mark, you can give this touching gift to a loved Dad or Grandpa, while also supporting a small business. You can place your order via their Facebook page:
I would be a complete slacker if I did not draw attention to our amazing Mini Custom Name Stickers! These micro peel and stick labels are a favourite for Dads who love to label their golf clubs, tools and kitchen and barbeque utensils. Dads also have tech gadgets that need to be identified as theirs! These labels are custom, durable and absolutely indispensable.
With 80 labels for less than $20.00, you can’t afford NOT to get them for the Big Daddy around your house!
One lucky Dad is going to win ALL of the above products! Comment below for your chance to be entered!
Contest closes June 18, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. One entry per person, winner to be chosen by random draw. This contest is open internationally. By entering you are confirming that you are at least 13 years of age.
